  1. Welcome to the StackDetective v2.3.1 Read me file.

  3. Version 2.3.1 of StackDetective is just a bug fix release; no new features have
  4. been added. If you want new features, look out for version 2.4, which will add
  5. the possibillity to scan only selected backgrounds of a stack, and some extra
  6. report formatting.
  7.  
  8. Changes made to the program since version 2.3.
  9.  
  10. Version 2.3.1
  11. ÑFixed a bug where you would get a inproper script list when you launched
  12. HyperCard with the StackDetective or it was the first stack you opened after
  13. Launching HyperCard, AND then did a scriptlisting of StackDetective itself.

  15. ÑFixed a bug that sometimes caused the report field to disappear when emptying
  16. the field. (Needless to say, this was not intended to be a feature)
  17.  
  18. ÑFixed a bug/quirk causing a scan of all mounted volumes when displaying text
  19. in an empty report field. This kind of behaviour can take a lot a time when you
  20. have a large hard disk somewhere.

  22. ÑIn case of some other unreported 'feature', just be happy about it (it's not a
  23. bug, it's a feature, riiight), or contact me via the adresses mentioned on the
  24. last page of the manual.

  26. Thanks to Mr. Mark Nagata, for reporting these bugs, and doing this so
  27. accurately that I could solve 2 of the problems, just by reading his report.
